Widget not displaying event name on homepage only

Hi,

I’m having an issue getting the Events List widget to display the name of the event on the home page only. It works on all of the subpages. I’ve built other pages and the issue only occurs when I set the page as my static homepage.

I’m will be rebuilding the site in the near future and was conferring purchasing the pro version but not if I can’t figure out this issue.

I’m using the woo theme Canvas.

p.s.: As a side note, you might want to try to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

p.p.s.: Woo Canvas tends to not play nicely with our plugin sometimes
