Widget Next Events not working

I just updated to 4.05 normal calendar en 4.04 pro (I havent seen a 405 pro yet) and suddenly had this problem where the widget that shows the next x events isnt working. It knows there are events (since it is showing up, and it shouldnt show up if there are no events) but it says there are no events. The website is this one: http://www.dekids.net
Other widgets are working, only this one has a problem, but it is the one I need for this client 🙂

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

What version did you update from on your site?

If you are not sure in a private reply can you provide this information:

Also, Pro 4.0.4 is the latest version for that. It is not always the case that the last number matches it is the first two that matter the most.

Hi,

It sounds like you are updating from an old version.

Do you have any custom templates in your theme for the widget?

With 3.10 we had to make some changes and if you do not update those custom templates the Events will not show.

In the list-widget.php template you can add these to the top and that might fix the issue instead having to redo custom work:

$events_label_plural = tribe_get_event_label_plural();

$posts = tribe_get_list_widget_events();

Let me know how that works out.
