Weekly booking calender

Hello

We are a martials arts club and need a calender that people can book the dojo in. That means a starting time and a ending time is selected by the user. They also need to be able to book more then one dojo at one time.

Does your calender support this type of booking?

If you do not support this type, could you please refer me somewhere that does?

Community Events would allow users to do as you are describing.

For each venue (dojo) they would need to submit an event. So if they need 3 dojos at a time, they’d submit the event 3x. Unfortunately that’s the limits of the current plugin. However, that would still achieve the end result.

Will the end user be able to select booking time on the calender? (e.g click o 08:00 and select the interval they wan’t to reserve, down to 14:00)

Hi Christian

This will work. However, it requires just an extra step. You’ll need to go to WordPress » Settings » General and select the time format H:i for 24hour time.

On the front end, the submitting user will still see a 12 hour clock option. I am submitting the feature request for 24 hour display there now.

After you’ve approved the submitted event, other visitors will see it in 24hour time as you wanted.

I’ll flag this topic to be followed up when the feature becomes available.

Hi there,

Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release (for the Week of 1st May 2017) is out, including a fix for this issue ?

Now the Community Events submission form should work with 24hrs format and 12hrs AM/PM format.
