Week Event Calendar don't show

    The Calendar works fine in Photo, Day, List and Month view. But there’s just nothing when I go to Week view. Please advise.

    I’ve temporarily turned Week view off till this is resolved. Don’t want to disappoint site visitors.

    We are sorry to hear about the map view not working on your site.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    My best guess is that this has to do with some type of conflict.

    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

    When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

    A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

    The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

    I turned off W3 Total Cache plugin and now the Week View is back on Events Calendar Pro. But as a result of turning off the plugin the site loads slowly.

    Good evening Matt,

    First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
    We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual.

    Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
    We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.

    Secondly, I totally understand how frustrating this type of issue can be.
    Please know that I do share your goal: solve this as quickly as possible.

    With that in mind, in my experience, this is usually best accomplished by some teamwork (back and forth) with our customers.

    As you can imagine, this is mostly due to the great diversity of WordPress installs out there.
    To put this into perspective, anytime I run in any type of issue with any plugin, theme or WordPress upgrade, I go through these exact steps myself.

    That being said, kudos for finding the culprit.

    The good news is that I am pretty sure that you can still run W3 Total cache alongside the Events Calendar. Most likely the cause of the issue is either:

    1. A specific setting (especially anything that pertains to minification of Javascript or HTML)
    2. A simple case of the W3TC’s cache needing to be emptied (flushed).

    Either way, going through the different settings that are activated and flushing the cache between each attempt should allow you to pinpoint exactly how to configure the caching plugin to perfection.
