ParticipantI saw a similar post regarding this problem and none of the suggestions worked. Here’s the gist of the problem, the URL of the Photo & Week views are wrong –
instead of – http://aiaorangecounty.org/events/photo/
now – http://aiaorangecounty.org/category/events/week/The URL without /category/ in the path works, I can get to the page if I remove it from the resulting URL. The same goes for the Week view –
works – http://aiaorangecounty.org/events/week/
doesn’t work – http://aiaorangecounty.org/category/events/week/Thanks!

ParticipantSame here. All was good until I upgraded all three plugins (TEC, Pro, Community Events) and now Photo (the only view I use other than List) goes to a 404 page. It’s going to …/category/uncategorized/photo/. I tried adding the Week view and it does that too. Month is fine. Haven’t tried others. Permalinks are refreshed. No joy.
If this needs to be split to it’s own thread, that’s cool.

MemberHi there Tony and Mad Dog,
Thanks for reporting this issue and sorry to hear about this 🙁
I was able to reproduce this myself so I’m going to log this as a new bug (I couldn’t find the same exact issue in the backlog). There are other similar fixes that will be introduced in maintenance release 4.0.1 coming out really soon. Can you re-test after the update?
@ Tony, can you point me to the previous thread on this? I wasn’t able to find it.
@ Mad Dog, you can follow along here as this seems to be the same issue affecting both of you. If you prefer to open a new topic that’s fine too.
Please let me know if the update fixes or alters the issue,
Best,
NicoDecember 10, 2015 at 2:11 pm #1039171Anthony

MemberHey Folks,
Really sorry to hear this wan’t fixed in the maintenance release.
@ Anthony, thanks for sending that thread over maybe George was referring to a related fix (as I mentioned similar issues with permalinks were addressed in 4.0.1). I’ll ping him and see if he was referring to a new ticket or one that was shipped in 4.0.1 but doesn’t solve this.
@ Mad Dog, I know: bummer!
I’ll surely be posting an update on this on Moday, hope this can make it to the secondary maintenance release,
Have a great weekend,

ParticipantSame here after I updated to WordPress 4.4, then updated EventsCalendarPro to 4.1.

Participanti have the same problem,
is there any workaround?December 14, 2015 at 7:35 pm #1041264Nico
MemberHey everyone,
Sorry once again for this issue, I could finally run some additional tests (as some in the QA team were not able to reproduce this I was doubting of a conflict) and gather more info on this for the dev team. We are close to release another maintenance release (4.0.2) and I’m pushing this forward to be addressed in the release.
We currently don’t have a workaround for this, but if the fix is not included in the maintenance release I’ll insist on a snippet or hot fix plugins till this gets fixed + released. I’ll have more news on this tomorrow.
Thanks for the patience and sorry for the hassle,
Best,
