    Hello, we are having issues with our website being slow, we ran a plugin that pointed out that the calendar events was the issue. We use the calendar for our employees to post when they will be off or if they will be at a different location for a meeting. In other words it gets used a lot. Right now we have 3,600 entries. Would this be causing the slowness for our website? It is an intranet website, so there is no easy way to share this with you. What would be the best way to fix this issue or do you have any suggestions?

    Finally, there is a good article George put up here that groups a set of developer plugins. It’s a bit more technical than the others but will definitely be of help if you are into development.

    3,600 events is certainly a number of events to take into account when considering the performance of your site. Regarding the plugin you mentioned running that pointed out the issue, could you please let us know which plugin you used and send us the results of the report so we can have a look at it?
