GuestIf someone changes their mind or can’t attend, we want to free that ticket up for someone else.
Is there an easy way for people to change their rsvp, and can a waitlist be provided to let others know a ticket is available?
Thanks

MemberGood evening Joe and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. The simplest way to have a waiting list is to make a second ticket for that event with no limit and call that ticket “Waiting List”.
Other than that, people can change their minds as long as they are logged in.
When you change your status to “not going” stock is added back to the quantity automatically after clicking on “View your RSVPs”.Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

GuestHmm … I see.
What would be more helpful is have a way for people to subscribe to a notification that emails when a ticket is made available. Is there a way to do this? Is this a custom development opportunity? If so, how much would that cost?
Thanks.

MemberGood evening Joe,
Thank you for writing back. That is actually a pretty good idea.
I would suggest you add your idea and vote here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/6095921-add-waitlist-capabilityI am pretty sure you could work some custom code that watches the stock of tickets and sends them to the appropriate email addresses. Not unlike what a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/bnfw/ does.
You can read about customizations here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you (as we do not take on custom work ourselves).
Have a great day!
