Venues and Organizations under Dashboard post type

Hi –
Since upgrading, I am having trouble with user roles. First – no ability to publish so I installed Members plugin – and that patched it. Now, I have no Venues nor Organizers under my dashboard “Events” post type. And, no ability to add new venue in my Event-Add New area.

Sorry to hear about this!

To be clear, do you mean that your problems here happen for you when logged in as a super-admin on the site?

Or do these issues only emerge when you are logged into a specific user role that is not a super-admin? If so, can you please specify what this role is?

Myself and a colleague are logged in as ADMIN
If SuperAdmin (unfamiliar) is required please advise

Hey Jennifer,

Thanks for clarifying this. This is odd behavior that I cannot reproduce, and unfortunately it sounds like either custom configuration of other plugins, or custom coding on your site, is the cause of these issues.

To help investigate if this is the case, I would recommend you run through the complete set of steps in this article → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Try to reproduce your problems with publishing/editing/etc. that you described in your first post after EACH STEP in the process linked above.
