KeymasterLeon,
Unfortunately it is against our terms of service to accept any login credentials to your site. In the admin screenshot you have provided, I can see that there are still other plugins enabled. The icons next to the ‘venue’ and ‘organizer’ section are not something that the Events Calendar has by default.
The Events Calendar only provides support for a single Venue for an Event, so I’m not sure why there are two sets of fields for this in your screenshot.
Here is a screenshot of what the interface should look like:
But I am guessing that the the reason your venues aren’t showing is because the value is being saved in that first, empty field for the venue.
I would start with just the Events Calendar and Twenty Seventeen theme, and make sure to configure and save the event while in this state. Just switching everything off will not change what is saved in the database for the event until you re-save it. Then enable other plugins or your theme one at a time until you see that additional Venue field show up to figure out what is causing this issue.
If you do all of this and still see the problem, I would re-download and replace all of the Events Calendar plugins to make sure they have not been somehow corrupted.
Hope this helps,

ParticipantYes, I have done this already, and just tried again.(the only reason you say plugins on sceen shot is because I reactivated them) The only plugin installed is the events calendar. Theme is Twenty Seventeen. I am still experiencing the same issue.
Once I remove the venue I only get one venue field in event back end. However as soon as I update/save the event two appear.
I have uploaded fresh copies of events calendar and events calendar pro files.
Database scan is showing no issues.Still have the same issue.
Thanks,
leon

KeymasterLeon,
Having multiple venues is only possible with customization. There are snippets for this out there, but they would need to be added via a plugin, or in your theme’s functions.php.
Is it possible that you are not disabling all of your plugins? I’m wondering in particular about the “The Events Calendar: Frontend Submission” plugin. Going to the website for that plugin takes one to a malware site. This plugin is not one of ours, and should be disabled during testing.
I see no other reports of this behavior and am unable to replicate it in my testing environment.
Is this a live production site? Or is this a staging site? If the latter, I would be willing to make an exception and log in to verify the behavior. Otherwise, I would request again another screenshot of the event admin page with everything disabled. I would like to verify that the differences in the UI from your other screenshots are indeed gone.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Thanks for getting back to me.
I can’t understand this either. I deactivated ALL plugins except for the event calendar. And still had the issue. I haven’t made any changes to functions.php and installed fresh copies of the plugin. This is a staging site, so if you could have a quick look this would be really useful.
Here is what I did:
1. Fresh install of wordpress
2. fresh install of theme
3. Fresh install of child theme
4. fresh install of all plugins
5. Migrated posts, pages, woocommerse info from live site to staging siteAll was working fine and ready to launch but now I have no venue. I’m not sure what changed.
I also attach another screen shot.
Thanks,
leon

KeymasterLeon,
OK, I logged in and took a look. I am still seeing the multiple venue settings on your existing events. I am also still seeing the square icons next to the settings which are not something present in TEC by default. However, when I create a new event, none of this shows up. So, something has corrupted these events when they were created. I tried removing a venue and saving, but this did not fix it.
I am concerned about that third party plugin I mentioned. Since it links to a malware site, it is possible that the plugin itself may not be safe, or may be of low quality. I would see if you can get by without it, and delete it completely from your system.
So, my recommendation would be to recreate the events without whatever plugin or theme is causing this issue. I can’t test all of the other plugins that you have installed, but I would try to figure out what is adding this functionality and icons.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
