Venue deleted when editing recurring event

Hello,

I received this from a client:

“if i go and edit an event (like change a little thing in the title)
the venue won’t be saved from when i initially posted said event
so i’ll have to re-enter all that info
it doesn’t come up in “saved venue” drop even if the event had already been published”

Any thoughts on why this is happening? I confirmed that this is happening, too, when he “edits all” within a series.

P.S. I see there is an update to 3.9.3. Could it be that this is fixed there?

Hi Courtney,

I’m sorry to hear about this behavior – while updating to 3.9.3 may not by itself fix this issue, it’s recommended anyways.

Once you’ve updated, I’m curious if you can go through the troubleshooting steps we’ve outlined here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

After each step described there, you should try editing recurring events and see if the behavior you describe here persists.
