Hi Team!

I hope you can help me sort this out – when I add new event (I have Community Events extension), under the following drop downs – Venue and Organiser – instead of seeing Venues and Organisers I have… posts.

Can you advise how to sort this out?

(I am using FLAVOR theme, if that’s relevant – http://themeforest.net/item/flavor-responsivehd-magazinereview-ajax-theme/4817769)

Hey Maciej,

Glad to be helping out on this too! This issue sounds like a theme conflict for sure, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can confirm this is indeed a theme conflict.

Hi Nico,

Actually your advice to the other question I had (about My Event page not showing my events) helped to resolve this issue as well I think. At least that’s what I think as there isn’t anything else that was changed apart from adding that # – at least nothing that I know of (my dev is doing all the work). So thanks for you help!

So this is sorted, but I have another question – at the moment Venue and Organizers drop downs show both my venues and all other venues (same for organisers). The question is – how can I limit this so each users sees only Venues and Organisers they have added?

Hey Maciej,

Glad to hear you could solve this 🙂

I’m afraid there’s no configuration for just displaying “your” venues and organizers. One way to modify this is to override the template part where the list is loaded, and replace that for your own combo box. The templates for venue and organizer lists are located at ‘wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/modules/’, the process to override templates is described in our Themer’s guide, take a look or share that information with your dev.
