MemberGood afternoon Kirsten and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the calendar not displaying where it should. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.http://new.emile-montessori.de/events/
There is no calendar and no events on event-URL…Since there appears to be a maintenance page up, I can’t say for sure what is going on.
I have tried the credentials provided, but unfortunately, they do not seem to work. But, could you try different settings under Events -> Settings -> Display for the “Events Template” dropdown and see if that helps ?

Is this so or I can make a setting? This is actually a glitch. We are working on a fix right now and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

single-event: google maps is only shown very short… what’s the issue? For this one, I will need to actually see the website.
Could you test the credentials provided so that I can look (not touch) ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
sorry, there was a bug somehow. Now the login-details are working.
I´m still not using the google API key and I’m looking forward, it works without API-key, too…
Is ist possible?Best regards

MemberGood evening Kirsten,
I went in and looked. But I was not able to look at your Events > Settings screen because of limited permission rights.
But I was able to catch the following error message
js?ver=4.6.1:34 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.kb @ js?ver=4.6.1:34
maps.google.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/26/9/util.js:208 Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keysOA.j @ maps.google.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/26/9/util.js:208With certain webhosts, it is possible to get the calendar working without Specific Google Map API keys.
However, that usually means that you are using your webhost’s keys. Google recently made this more of a requirement than it was in the past and if anything it is going to become more and more necessary.
So in short, your best bet is to follow the instructions to install the API key in question.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to post a quick note here that we have published a new Maintenance Release today that should address some of the problems reported in this thread.
You can read about the details of this release here → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-3-2-event-tickets-4-3-2-premium-plugins/
I hope this update helps!
If issues persist, open a new thread in the forums and be sure to include your site’s complete, un-edited “System Information” as per the instructions in this knowledgebase guide.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
