ParticipantHi,
I utilize Events Calendar Pro for a client already and it works perfect. I have a new client that runs a language school and we were looking at the possibility of using Events Calendar Pro for it but I have a couple questions I was hoping someone could answer to see if this would be the best option.1- the courses they client offers do not have specific dates, for example a class may run every wednesday at 9am all year long. Is this something easily achieved with Events Calendar Pro without the need to create duplicate courses for every date? And for the iCal export would it only show the one date? Or would it populate all ‘wednesdays’?
2- Is it possible to create a child theme to edit some of the items normally listed on the event pages (for example hiding the location, or including the teachers name, or the language the course is taught in, etc etc..) This way we do not need to manually change everything again every time there is an update to the Events Calendar plugin?
3- Would it be possible to to have the list view of the events not show dates, but show as just days of the week.. i.e. have all courses on Monday listed under just the heading Monday instead of Monday June 9, 2017.. etc..
Thanks in advance!

MemberHi, Jason. Thanks for your interest in using our plugin suite for another project.
For your first question, I’d point out that our Event Tickets / Event Tickets Plus plugin(s) do not work with PRO’s recurring events functionality. Additionally, the tickets are not reusable; they’d need to be recreated for each event even if they’re identical. For example, if you have a ballet performance on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you’d have to create 3 separate events and re-create the tickets for each event. You couldn’t create the tickets for Friday and then copy those tickets and their settings over to Saturday’s and Sunday’s events.
I’m unclear about your second question; maybe you’re asking how to set defaults to speed things up when creating an event or a ticket? If yes, this wouldn’t be accomplished via a child theme. However, if I’m misunderstanding your question, I’d suggest you review our Themer’s Guide for child theme-related how-to’s.
Your last question sounds like it would be a customization, for which we do not provide support, per our Scope of Support / Terms. It may be able to be accomplished via our Themer’s Guide.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
