Using this for showing availability of units for rent

I’m just looking for something I can’t find, so I thought that an event calendar may work.

My client has 5 units for rent for vacation renters. She does not want to book online and just wants to fill in Unit 1-5 are either available or booked and have potential renters on her site contact her to book based on what she (the admin) enters. I was thinking that Cottege One could be a recurring event, or something like that.

What would need to be done to make this happen or is it stupid?

Thanks for looking to us for your solution! While we’re definitely not a booking plugin, many people do use it for some of these more edge cases, which is great.

I don’t believe I’m fully understanding what you have in mind, but I don’t see anything you’d need our paid add-ons for at this time.

You should install and activate our core/free plugins:

• The Events Calendar
• Event Tickets

Then you can try things out like that and possibly pull it all off for free.

You might want to consider our PRO add-on if you want to add extra Views (like Photo, Map, or Week), and you could also use PRO’s Additional Fields functionality if desired (possibly even instead of Event Tickets).

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
