ParticipantHello,
I tried the recommended solution located here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/using-map-view-cause-page-meta-title-to-change-to-undefined/But it did not fix the issue on the /events page, any other ideas?
Thanks!

MemberHi Mimi. I wasn’t sure exactly what you’re wanting, but maybe this reference will help: Changing our plugins’ words and terminology
If that doesn’t help, please let me know better how I can help you.
Thanks.

ParticipantWe are using the map view as our default events page and when the page first loads the page title is this: <title>Events | Castlight Health</title>
But when the map section loads, it changes to show “undefined”
You can watch it happen here when the page loads: http://www.castlighthealth.com/events/

MemberHi. Here’s a video on my iMac + Chrome. I didn’t see any “undefined” when I loaded or reloaded the page: http://cl.ly/300K0D3H0727
Have you cleared your browser cache, cookies, etc — or tried another browser?

ParticipantI am talking about the actual title in the browser tab: http://i.imgur.com/pFOuJBq.png
It shows: Events | Castlight Health
Then changes to: undefinedIt changes when the map is loaded

MemberAh, interesting.
This isn’t default behavior. Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantWhat is odd is that the title tag is showing the correct title: <title>Events | Castlight Health</title>
And that this page does not act the same: http://www.castlighthealth.com/events/list/
Which leads me to believe the map is causing the issue. I am still going through to try to figure out any conflicts.

MemberIt’s not happening on our demo site — http://wpshindig.com/events/map/ — and I couldn’t replicate it on my local testing site…
Because it happens after page load, it’s probably from JavaScript. This screenshot might help identify how the <title> is being replaced. If that doesn’t help you discover the issue, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
