Thanks for using our plugins.
I am limited in being able to help with customizations, but can try to help you get started.
This does involve changing some coding following our themer’s guide and again I can help get you started, but unable to provide all the coding.
Here is out themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Then you want to move and edit this file:
the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.php
In your theme here:
yourtheme/tribe-events/default-template.php
There you can add the slider coding above this line:
<div id=”tribe-events-pg-template”>
And use the following conditionals to get it to display only on the views you like.

Cheers!

I had it there, but it seems to be the wrong place. We already seem to be in the content-area, but I need the Slider in the template above the content area like you see on http://www.labelpack.de/
What I get, when I include it at the place you told is:
October 13, 2015 at 4:54 am #1014004NikolausParticipantOr may be just tell me a place, where I can add a fullwidth image that matches my design.
October 13, 2015 at 6:33 am #1014042BrianKeymasterHi,
I am not sure how your theme is setup so I do not know the exact location where it would need to go. That is something you are going to have to figure out.
It could be in the header.php file near the bottom and then you could use these conditionals to target only event pages:

Beyond that I do not have specifics for your theme, but could try to answer another question.
Thanks
October 13, 2015 at 6:49 am #1014050NikolausParticipantMay be my explanation of my problem is completely wrong.
Let me try this way: In MY theme you have pages. You just choose the page “video”, “start”, “about”, … from the list of pages in the administrator and choose the slider or fallback image.
BUT I do not find a page called “Events” or “Events/List”, …
The theme is AVADA … not a really unknown theme.
I know that this might not be your business, but help, I am hanging here. May be there is someone in your team, who understands my problem. And “no” I am not a skilled programmer, but I anyway have a serious problem here.
May be there is someone, who can tell me, where my problem is located.
October 13, 2015 at 12:23 pm #1014242NikolausParticipantIs there anyone who I can pay for giving me an answer that leads to a solution?
October 13, 2015 at 3:46 pm #1014320BrianKeymasterHi,
Sorry for your frustrations.
The Events Views are not pages, but Archives in WordPress so they do not show up in the page area of your site.
It is not that your theme is unknown it is the same for any theme even the popular ones we cannot provide support for customization and have to follow our terms and conditions for all our license holders. We try to help out, but we are limited in what we can go. This is one of those areas we are limited as it is not a feature we ship with.
As for the issue the only way to add the slider is by customizationing templates it cannot be done from the WordPress Admin.
I have laid out the resources we have for a customization like this, but do not have much else beyond this.
If you are looking for help we have this list of people that might help you:

Thanks
