User Self Event Posting with Payment

Does the Event Calendar plugin (possibly with additional modules) support the provision:

– User Registration
– User self posting of events
– Accept payments for the posting of events
– Payment calculation based on the advertisement period duration

Hello Arthur,

Good questions.

• User Registration: The Events Calendar does not take user registration, but does use WP’s login screen as far as allowing registered users to post events.
• User self posting of events: Yes, our Community Events add-on is perfect for this,
• Accept payments for the posting of events: No, I’m afraid not, though it is something we are looking into adding to our Community Events add-on.
• Payment calculation based on the advertisement period duration: This is also not possible at the moment since there is no fee charge for posting events.

It goes without saying that the queries outline the must have features, and had the reply been positive for all I would have bought the plugin there and then, however, considering that you are currently considering the implementation of paid submissions for the Community Event Add-On, do you have an indicative date as to when the decision will be taken?

Should the decision to implement this feature be taken, is there a frequently updated plugin full-feature list I can monitor to check out when this feature is launched?

Hey Arthur and thanks for following up! I really wish I had a timeframe to share for a decision and implementation, but honestly there is no action as far I know at the moment.

The best way to stay in touch of feature requests is to add your vote. That will allow you to subscribe to updates when they’re available. Another good place is our blog, because we do post any time there is a new release, especially ones with new features.
