GuestHello,
I was reading your documentation about how your plugin can allow attendees to manage their event details, update their info, cancel etc.: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#editing-attendee-info
If I have a WooCommerce site with a subscription product with the purchaser of that subscription given a “subscriber” role, is it possible to set a different default role for event attendees?
Also, assuming I want to allow users to manage their event details, if someone purchases tickets for multiple people, does everyone they purchased a ticket for then get emailed their own ticket and get their own account, or is it just the purchaser?
Let me know at your convenience.

KeymasterHi Zacary,
Thanks for your questions!
If I have a WooCommerce site with a subscription product with the purchaser of that subscription given a “subscriber” role, is it possible to set a different default role for event attendees?
Is that ‘Subscriber’ role the built-in one?
I’m not quite sure if it’s possible to change the role of somebody who RSVPs or purchases a ticket. I will need to check that.
What you can possibly do is install a user role manager plugin and create a new role (possibly a duplicate of subscriber) and name is somehow differently, and assign that user role to the subscription subscriber.
if someone purchases tickets for multiple people, does everyone they purchased a ticket for then get emailed their own ticket and get their own account, or is it just the purchaser
It is just the purchaser, s/he will get an email which contains all the tickets, so the tickets (and thus the submitted data) is connected to his/her purchase / account. No accounts will be created for the others, only the purchaser.
Do these answer your questions?
Cheers,

KeymasterHey Zach,
Had a brief talk with a team member, and pointed out the following:
What happens when you are a subscriber, and then you make a purchase? Would you be make a purchaser? And the question goes of course the other way around.
The whole scenario looks complicated and would need to be thought through how the different situations should be handled. After that is laid out, then – a probably – extensive custom development will be needed to achieve what you want.
We are unable to accommodate custom development requests. If you feel you cannot or don’t want to tackle this alone, you could reach out to these independent developers from the community who might be able to help you out.
Cheers,
