Hey Rick,
Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in our software – I’m sorry that it’s caused some conflicts with Optinmonster thus far, and I’m also sorry to bear the news that, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that by adding the Events Calendar Pro add-on, a conflict-free option will become available (with shortcodes, widgets, or otherwise).
So a conflict could very well persist even if you add the Events Calendar Pro add-on and use shortcodes.
I’m sorry about this, Rick – if it’s any consolation, we do have a no-questions-asked refund policy that is valid for the first 30 days after purchase. This affords a sort-of “trial” period, where you can try out the plugin and the Events Calendar Pro firsthand and see if it works well for your project.
If you try it out and conflicts with Optinmonster persist, though, just follow the steps on this page and we can issue a full refund immediately for the license → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Sorry for the lack of a definitive “yes” or “no” here – I hope this information all helps, though!
Thank you,
George
