    I just upgraded to 4.0 on one of my sites, and the issue has resurfaced, except this time the end of day cutoff is already set to midnight.

    Help? Need a workaround please. Thanks.

    Howdy onelittlemoose,

    Thank for sharing this backstory on what is going on here. I read through everything.

    I am sorry if things were a bit unclear. As Josh and George have said this is something we have logged but have not fixed. I just double checked the status of this ticket and indeed it is still pending an upcoming release. It has had a fairly low impact in that it has so far only affected a tiny subset of people, so it was marked as a lower priority than bugs that affected more folks.

    I just prodded our strategist to see if he has a better idea of when this will be fixed, now that 4.0 is released. I am sure he will email me back soon. But for now the only update I have is basically what Josh said “We’ll notify you here as we make progress on this one.”

    Thanks again for reporting this bug and your patience while we fix it. In a world with infinite resources we would have loved to have fixed it the day it was reported. But of course that’s not our world and so we have to prioritize things, which means timelines. But I just did my best to get this one bumped up if at all possible. I will get back to you with any developments.

    Thanks, Brook. Appreciate the followup, as it will be very helpful to know when it’s fixed.

    The previous version allowed a work around by setting the end of day cutoff back to the default 12 am. That no longer works with 4.0.

    However, I tried setting the Timezone mode to “use the local timezones for each event” even though they’re all in the same time zone.

    That seems to address it for now. So far. But I’ve only upgraded the one site.

    If you have an ETA on the fix then I can plan when/if/how I upgrade the remaining sites to 4.0.

    Howdy again,

    You are welcome! We did get this tentatively slotted for v4.0.2. v4.0.1 is due out this week, and then we will begin on dot 2. Dot 2 is going to be a little bigger than usual, so it is possible a couple items we are tentatively planning to patch in it will get bumped a version. It’s a small possibility, but I just don’t to set false expectations here.

    This fix was also included in the 4.0.1 release that just went out. Please keep your eyes open for the update and please do let us know if any other issues pop up–we’d be happy to help. 🙂
