ParticipantMaybe this is intended behaviour but I feel like I’ve messed it up without knowing it numerous times now.
When editing a ticket, once I finish making all my changes and continue editing the event, if I hit Update to update the whole event, it saves but all the changes to the ticket are lost if I didn’t press Save Ticket. It seems like the ticket should either be updated as well, or a popup should say “you have unsaved changes, are you sure?”
As it is now, there is no indicator that saving the page discards any changes to tickets that are being edited on the same page.

Unfortunately what you are describing is expected behavior. After creating changes to your ticket, you must click Save Ticket, otherwise your changes will be lost.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
