Update plugin on https://domain.staging.wpengine.com with same license?

    I am having a problem it seems others also have. My staging site is https://domain.staging.wpengine.com and I get the error that the destination folder already exists when I try to upload new version of Events Calendar PRO.

    Please help as it’s important for us to be able to test updates on our staging site.

    Hello Laura

    In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites. 

    If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin.  You will need to manually run updates by downloading the plugin again from My Account » Downloads, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/.  If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.

    If you are still unable to delete the plugin from Plugins » Installed Plugins, you will need access to either FTP to your staging site or by browsing your host’s control panel & file manager to manually delete it there.
