    Hello!

I am having the exact same problem described in this support ticket: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/may-9th-update-conflict-with-wordpress/

I updated The Event Calendar, the site totally crashed, error code 500. I went into FTP deleted the plugin. Couldn’t reupload previous version via WordPress interface (it kept filing), so uploaded version 4.6.14 via FTP.

Then the filter bar stopped working. I updated that plugin, and now the filter bar plugin won’t activate.

I tried to upload the debug file, but your file uploader says I can’t uploaded files of this type (.txt)?

Thank you for your help on this!

    Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support. You should be able to upload a text file so that is weird. I would contact your host and see if all of the directory permissions are correct. Sounds like some of the files may not be reaching your server.

Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
