Upcoming events past current month in sidebar view

Is there any way to display upcoming events in the sidebar view that go into the next month?
This issue was brought to my attention today with the sidebar calendar widget.

Today is Jan 31, we are not able to see the events that are not in Janary i.e. an event for tomorrow (Feb 1) is not listed.

Changing the month to Feb, then we can see the events coming up in February.

This becomes an issue for users that glance at the calendar and don’t really interact with it by changing the month or clicking on the days and just need to see upcoming events. An event scheduled for the next day even being in a different month should display.

Hi Tommie,

It sounds like you’re using the mini calendar widget, which shows events in a smaller version of the month view? I would recommend trying out the Events List and This Week Events widgets. This article has some more details on each of the available widgets. If you would like to customize the mini calendar, our themer’s guide is the place to start!
