    Hi Matt,

If I make a new topic I’m going to copy/pasting information from above creating redundancy.

In terms of sharing information such as system information or HTTP credentials, you need only link back to this topic and highlight that your previously shared details are in there (unless of course you know them to have changed, in which case just post fresh and up-to-date details): all staff members have the ability to see the content of private replies so there is no issue there.

I’m having an another problem as well. Should I make a third ticket? I just don’t think that makes a ton of sense since these could all be related.

If you have another problem, yes, definitely do create a new ticket.

It’s the fastest way for us to help you and keeping things compartmentalized prevents a lot of confusion. Remember, opening a new ticket and linking back to this one if you want to share details isn’t something that should be too arduous.

From experience we’re generally pretty good at determining when issues should be split apart and when they shouldn’t. While I am in no way suggesting we always get it right, our aim is ultimately to help you as quickly and efficiently as we can (even if it initially seems like a lot of work to create a new topic, it really isn’t and what we’re suggesting is what we believe will get you the best result).

The past issues, dev logins and history are all relevant to ongoing issues with your plugin. For all I know they are entirely related.

They may be, but I suspect not. Here’s what I suggest: if you do want to progress troubleshooting work on the database error you originally cited, let’s do that here (are you still encountering that?).

For other issues, such as concerns about the event URL containing the incorrect date (I don’t actually see the event/URL you mentioned when I visit your site, however) or for any other problems, please create new topics – sticking to our suggested policy of one question per forum topic wherever possible.

    Thanks again.

Seems like quite the coincidence these issues arise after importing the data from the old site- using the same versions and files as the previous.

Matt: returning to the original issue you referenced – Unknown column ‘EventStartDate’ in ‘order clause’ – can you confirm if you are still hitting this?

Seems like quite the coincidence these issues arise after importing the data from the old site- using the same versions and files as the previous.

It may not be coincidence. If it is in fact related, we should have a good chance of finding the root cause by focusing on the original problem. However, it’s also possible that this was a pre-existing set of problems that for one reason or another didn’t manifest themselves until post-migration.

The events appear to have been imported successfully the second attempt and no longer getting the DB error.

I’m glad to hear that — and appreciate you taking the time to break out the recurrence URL problem into a separate topic where George will be able to assist further.
