ParticipantHi,
We just updated to the latest versions of the plugins and are encountering the following JavaScript error when submitting a search with a value in the Near field (thus a search cannot be submitted if a value is in the Near field).
We’ve confirmed the issue is present on the Twenty Seventeen default WordPress theme (with other plugins still deactivated). Please confirm and advise. Thank you.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support. I tested this on my test site and it appears to be working in all views. I do see the error on your console so I am creating a bug ticket.
We will keep you posted with results.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks Brendan! We’ll look forward to hearing what the results are to hopefully fix this issue.

KeymasterHi Karly,
I did create a bug ticket. Now, I do want to to check one thing if you could. Can you look at your themes function.php file and see if there are any lines that say “jquery”. If so send me a screenshot of that.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Brendan,
I tried removing that line from our theme’s functions.php but the issue persists. This wasn’t surprising, since the console error was also present on the Twenty Seventeen default WordPress theme (with other plugins deactivated).
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Karly,
Thanks for checking. We will keep you posted.

MemberHi Karly!
I just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, and we were not able to reproduce the issue you reported.
We know this is an error that may happen from time to time depending on your site’s connection to Google’s API
You can find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-july-2018/
Please update the plugins and let us know if you still experience this problem.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
