    Hi,

    In my WordPress dashboard I’m getting a message saying that there is a new version of Event Tickets Plus but that I need to enter licence key. I’ve entered this many times and get a valid message with expiry date of later this year but the info does not seem to stay.

    I would like to update this plugin but how can I do this if the licence key will not hold when entered.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

    Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.

    Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:

    Visit License Tab
    Enter License Key
    You get a Green License Valid Message
    After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
    Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page.

    Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:

    Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.

    Hi,

    Yes that was the same process I was following and I got all the success messages but it would still not retain the licence key. I have tried again this evening and this time it worked and the update became available to download in the plugins.
