Trouble with Facebook Event Update

Following the latest Facebook events update, when an import source shares an event on Facebook it is added to the events of their page- as if they hosting the event.

Our organization is focused in only the downtown area of a small city, so our trouble is when these out-of-downtown events are shared on Facebook by our import sources and are subsequently imported to our websites calendar.

Any way to fix this?

Facebook Events was actually replaced by Event Aggregator, which allows you to import from other sources in addition to Facebook. Facebook Events is no longer updated, so unfortunately issues are likely to pop up over time as WordPress and our other plugins (like The Events Calendar) are updated.
