I was trying to update to the new Events Tickets Pro and accidentally deactivated woocommerce in wordpress. Now, our entire site is down, and I just get the error message “TribeWooTickets’ not found”.

I did some digging and found this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/fatal-error-class-tribewootickets-not-found-in-functions-php-on-line/

But changing the title did not make any change. Help please? Is there a way to reactivate woocommerce through function.php?

    Hi Dan.

Sorry this happened on your site.

It sounds like you’ll need to access your site via SFTP or cPanel File Manager or some other “files on your server” sort of access.

Then you can just delete the WooTickets folder at /wp-admin/plugins/wootickets (or, if you feel more comfortable with it, just rename it to something like “wootickets-x”)

Then try to load your site again and since the WooTickets plugin will now be deactivated, it shouldn’t be throwing that error.

You can then install and activate WooCommerce, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus and you should be good to go! SeeĀ Moving to Event Tickets Plus.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
