tribe_events_list event expiration

Using the tribe_events_list short code, is there a way to customize it to show events x number of days past the end date of the event? We don’t want to explicitly add expiration dates, and I don’t see anywhere in the plugin settings or code to change this…is this a feature request or is there a workaround to allow events in list view to remain a number of days past the event end date?

I.e.
[tribe_events_list limit=”5″ category=”blah” expiration=”5″]

It would also be good to be able to expire events a number of days BEFORE they take place as well.

Thank you for reaching out to us!

It’s certainly possible to achieve what you want, but remains something that we do not support “out of the box”: some amount of custom dev work would be required to make this happen.

To help you get started, the simplest approach here would be to build a custom query using tribe_get_events and setting the “eventDisplay” argument to “past”, or setting the “end_date” to indicate the end of the date range you are interested in.
