I am trying to change the wording of the related events title. I’m not able to find this anywhere and have looked through the documentation with no luck. I have attached an image to describe my query.

After reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.

With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.

I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.

For your customization, you may want to take a look at this template: /wp-content/events-pro/src/views/pro/related-events.php

or in your theme, if there’s already some sort of template customization /wp-content/your-theme/tribe-events/pro/related-events.php (see that I’ve used “your-theme” as the theme folder, but you’ll need to define that).

In line number 26 of that file, you’ll find the code that is printing the “Related” text.

If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.

Let me understand this correctly. In order to change the text “MAYBE YOU LIKE ?” (which is not grammatically correct btw)

I need to go into the code. This is not something that has been coded so that a person can edit in the front end?

Surely this is not the case. Perhaps you don’t understand what I am asking. I simply need to change this text sentence from “MAYBE YOU LIKE ?” to “MAYBE YOU’LL LIKE?”

The theme author of the TicketBox therme has customized The Events Calendar. The words you want to change are part of their customization. You can see the same grammar issue on their demo website. If you load another theme, like twentyseventeen, you will see the words “Related Events”. As Juan mentions, it comes from line 26 of related-events.php.

You will need to open a support ticket with your theme author to resolve the issue.

Melanie, thank you for the follow-up. Mathew is right, the customization of those words was done by the theme author. I’m not familiar with that theme, so at first, I thought that you were the one behind the customization, and that’s why I suggested going that way.
