ParticipantHello!
My site must be written in Portuguese throughout Brazil, but not with the plugin to appear that way. I have the pro version and already checked in all language folders and contained files to Portuguese of Brazil, but still appear in English on the website. Really this is a problem we need to solve and I count on the help of developers because bought the plugin just for reporting allow work that way .
Thank you!June 13, 2016 at 7:49 pm #1126507Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Luciana and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that your calendar is not showing up in Brazilian Portuguese.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, just to make sure I understand correctly, are you looking to have a multi-lingual website or a unilingual Brazilian Portuguese website.
In the latter case, could you tell me what is the WordPress language setting found in Settings > General of your WordPress admin ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Luciana,
Thank you for your answer, your explanation and for the system information.
I have the pro version and already checked in all language folders and contained files to Portuguese of Brazil, but still appear in English on the website.
Based on the link you sent me, I see that some of the strings are still in English (e.g.: RELATED EVENTS)
, but for the most part they are in Portuguese. Can you confirm this or if that’s not the case provide me with a link to a page where the content is not translated to Portuguese ?
For the strings that are not translating to your liking, you can always use the following snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
And have other a big problem!
Use the theme Festiven and the calendar does not work on it. I just can not move to the next month. Check the link:http://profitrecife.com.br/events/
I have registered events, but it does not allow to view the coming months.
I believe this is because you are using the list view as the default view.
You can change that setting at Events -> Settings -> Display (try changing the Default view to “Month”)
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
Geoff B.
