GuestHi,
After the last update, again, some translations are incomplete.
Dutch is 100% complete on your translation website.
As a fix I tried updating fresh po and mo files from the translation website, but no luck.
Problems: in the widget “view all”is not translated, In the events page “Find out more” is not translated.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

MemberHi Henk,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll try to help you out getting this right.
Please let me know in which plugin are you seeing this: Events Calendar PRO or just The Events Calendar core version? I’ll try to reproduce this on my end and see what’s happening there.
Thanks,

MemberHey MilanOS,
Thanks fro jumping in here. Just tried locally and I think I’m seeing it too but not sure about the different between these two language options: https://cloudup.com/ckEkEAsNPjD, Can you tell me which one is the correct?
Please let me know about it so I can confirm this and make some additional test to see if this is a bug or not,
Thanks,

GuestSorry for the delay. It’s the core version. I will tell you what the correct translation is for the two words in Dutch for testing.
View all = Bekijk alle
Find out more = Meer wetenOctober 23, 2015 at 2:52 pm #1017490Nico
MemberHey Henk,
Thanks for clarifying that!
Testing this locally with ‘Nederlands’ site language I see the link for the widget: ‘View all events’ > ‘Bekijk alle Evenementen’ and the ‘Find out more’ > ‘Meer weten’. So it seems to be working for me.
Can you try to re-download the plugin and follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Hope that fixes the issue for you,
Best,

GuestHi,
That was fun investigating!
It is the Avada theme that causes the problem.
I’m not sure about the widget, becaus the widget is not showing up in 20-13.
You can look for it yourselves at: broodfondskoggebrood.nl
Let me know if you want me to test anything else.

MemberHenk,
Thanks for following up with the results of the test. If you could narrow down the issue to an incompatibility with the Avada theme, then I would recommend reaching out to them directly.
Also I’m not aware this is a problem for other users (not sure if @MilanOS is also affected by this) so maybe updating the theme to the latest version solves this?
Please let me know if Avada’s support team can shed some light over this,
Best,

GuestHi,
my theme is auto updated.
Do no hope that you guys start pointing to each other and no one is going to solve the problem.
I saw that Avada also integrated Eventcalendar to their toolkit so I hope this can be solved.

MemberHi folks,
@Henk, I thought you confirmed this issue was only happening with the Avada theme:
It is the Avada theme that causes the problem.
So if that’s the case there’s not much we can do about it. But please let me know about how they responded.
@MilanOS, this is how I’m seeing it locally: https://cloudup.com/c-PTLyqwxql.
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Thanks,

GuestHi,
this is how Avada replyed:
————————–
I apologise for inconvenience. However I believe I understand your correctly.
We define some strings related to this plugin in theme translation files. Same as we do for WooCommerce such “View cart” and “Checkout” etc. AVADA overrides plugin template files which use our translation file. So you can modify AVADA translation to get desired results.
Hope it helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I will be glad to help.
——————————
I will take a look at the Avada po-files and edit them. Translation here is not 100%. Then check if the problem is solved.

GuestHello, I was checking the blog because I have the same problem with Italian, I also use Avada. Even if the string “Find out more” is correctly translated in Avada, it does not appear as translated in my Events page on my website.
Is it possibile that the string is not taken by the translator, as I realized it is written as “Find out more>” while in the Avada theme it appears as “Find out more” without “>”? And also in the Events translator you have two strings , one is “Find out more” and the second “Find out more>>” with an extra “>”
Please let me know if you resolve this!!! thank you

GuestHi,
here an update of my contact with the Avada technician.
Looked in the translation files of Avada but the words “find out more” and “View all” were not there in the translation files. So I contacted Avada again and asked them to further investigate about what is going wrong there. They are now taking a look in my WordPress installation.
Nico Santos, if you want to contact him, Salman from Avada is working on the problem.
