Toggle remove category on and off from month view

I am new to both The Events CalendarPro and WordPress. I’m trying to allow the users of our calendar to toggle the display of a category off and on. I found a code snippet that would hide a category from the month view, which I successfully installed but I don’t see a way to turn this functionality off and on.
Can you point me in the right to solve this problem? If it’s helpful. here’s a link to the calendar I was creating. I used a sidebar to display the hidden category with a list view, but that’s not really optimal.

Other than doing a customization, there is not a way with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar Pro out of the box to switch between different categories. There are category pages, so you could link to each of the pages to allow users to switch between categories quickly.

You might also take a look at Filter Bar, which does include some additional filtering options, including the ability to filter by categories.
