ParticipantHi Geoff,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. For the life of me I can’t find what is causing the day to be 10 hours behind. I had someone else look at code and they couldn’t find anything but maybe this CSS snippet maybe something.
/* Calendar Present day Colour */
.tribe-events-calendar td.tribe-events-present div[id*=tribe-events-daynum-], .tribe-events-calendar td.tribe-events-present div[id*=tribe-events-daynum-]>a {
background-color: #6e9a61 !important;
}Cheers

MemberHi James, thanks for following up!
I can’t think of how that CSS would impact anything, but does it help to remove it?
Going back to Brook’s comment, do any of the other plugins you have affect time and date settings? Perhaps the theme does? He does make a good point in that some authors do use theΒ date_default_timezone_set() function with averse effects. For that, I’d say going through these troubleshooting steps would help uncover whether that is happening.
Let’s try that. If this little bugger is still at it, then I think we should try setting up a fresh test site and try to replicate it there. I’ll walk you through those steps, but hopefully it won’t be needed. π
Cheers!

ParticipantHi!
I am having similar issues. My day is highlighted as one day ahead for half of the day, and events happening on today’s date are showing up as passed when the visitor clicks on the event for details

MemberThanks for chiming in here, Stacey! Good to hear that we have another test case in our back pocket if we are unable to replicate the issue. Please feel free to follow along as I work with James–you’re also welcome to open a new thread where we can support you directly, if you’re prefer.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
My apologies for the delay in replying, I’ve been away with work this past week.
I’ve undertaken all the troubleshooting steps to look for conflicts and did a database and file search for the date_default_timezone_set() function, all seems to be in order.
I then loaded a fresh install of wordpress version 4.2.3, the twenty fifteen theme, and event calendar with event calendar pro onto a test server, adding a couple of dummy events and a little bit of CSS code. It still seems to have the same problem. Although saying that! I did notice that the current day “marker” seems to be “shading” two days, previous day darker, then a slightly dark for the current day and all other days semi transparent. You can see a screen grab at https://www.jamesdoylephoto.com/images/2015-07-31_7-40-28.png
Cheers

MemberHey James! I appreciate you following up!
Do you happen to have a link to that test site where I can see the issue? Also, if you could include your system information in the reply (feel free to mark it a private reply) from the Events > Settings > Help screen of that test site, I would love to review that as well.
Thanks a TON!

ParticipantSame issue here, been through the conflic check to no avail. Are there any more updates in this chaps?
August 2, 2015 at 3:10 pm #992566sesumiloa
ParticipantJust to note a discovery I made which is if the start and end time aren’t specified apart from each other, this removed the event from being diplayed at a certain point on that day.

MemberHowdy @sesumiloa, thanks for chiming in here!
No update so far, but hoping to review the system information when it’s available to see if I can replicate the issue on my end with the exact same settings.
You’re totally welcome to follow along here, or please feel free to hit us up with a new thread and we can help you directly there. π
Cheers!

MemberWonderful, thanks a TON, James! This is super helpful.
I was indeed able to replicate the same issue based on the settings you shared. A ticket has been logged in our system and I’ll move this thread to Pending Fix in the meantime.
I don’t have a specific time estimate for when we may be able ti tackle this, but we will certainly follow-up with you here when we have more to share.
Thanks so much for reporting this and working so diligently with me to replicate the issue!
