I am setting up tickets to sell for an event. When I set the ticket stock to a certain amount (let’s say 50) when using paypal as the payment method, it continues to sell tickets even after the 50 tickets have sold. Once the tickets have sold out, and more are purchased, the stock shows a negative number. It seems to work when not using paypal as the payment method, though. Our venue has limited capacity, so we need to ensure that we don’t sell more tickets than we can handle.

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about the troubles.
I’m going to do some quick testing on my local environment to see if I can replicate the issue since we don’t have any logged bugs with users reporting similar issues. If you can, please share your System Information as a private reply.

I was able to reproduce the issue on my local environment, so I’ve created a bug for the developers to address in an upcoming release. I wish I had a better solution for you at the moment, but unfortunately do not :-/
Hold tight and stay tuned to your WP-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for release info. It is a serious bug, so we’ll more than likely get this addressed ASAP. Thanks for the patience on your end and if you don’t mind, please still reply back with your System Information privately.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We weren’t able to get a fix for it into our upcoming release (4.1). However, please know that the problem is still on our radar and is ticketed within our system to be addressed in a future maintenance release. We’ll do our best to keep you posted when we are able to get a solution in place. Thank you for your patience while we improve and expand our plugins.
