Tickets Plus: free registration? Email to attendees?

Hello!

I’ve tested the free Event Tickets plugin but it does not fully match my requirements, so here are the questions open after reading some of the documentation and feature lists:

What I’m trying to achieve is the possibility for users to simply register for one or more events.
1) RSVPs are close to that, is it possible to hide the option to decline the invitation (hide the select field with the yes/no answer)? Is there a possibility to filter the attendee list in the backend to only show accepted RSVPs?

2) With Event Tickets Plus I’ve seen, free tickets (price = 0,00) should be possible, do I still need an eCommerce Plugin for those? With free tickets, does the user to still have go through the whole purchase process?

3) Is there an option for a user to list & manage his tickets / registrations?

4) Is there an option for the admin to send an email to all ticket owners / accepted RSVPs, e.g. to notify them about changed event location / start time / etc.?

Hi, Jakob.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.

1. The Attendee Report in wp-admin will eventually be reworked (months at the earliest, not weeks) so I’d expect it to be better in time. But, sure, you could remove the option to RSVP “no” and instead only allow “yes” RSVPs.
2. Yes, even free tickets that are not of the RSVP type would require WooCommerce or EDD and need to complete the checkout process.

4. There are several related feature requests on this topic. Please add your vote(s) at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/category/85258-event-tickets-events-tickets-plus.
