ParticipantThe ticket page for the event no longer shows the tickets on the front side, I can see them on the back side, also the descriptions of the tickets is no longer on the front side.
Thanks for your help!April 17, 2017 at 6:26 pm #1270888Cliff
MemberHi, Shirleyann. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
It looks like you’re on the latest versions of everything, which is good.
There’s not one specific known thing of why this might not have worked for you. Since the data is still in your wp-admin event edit screen, it doesn’t sound like there’s any data loss, which is great.
As far as the front-end not displaying properly, I wonder if you might have any Template Overrides in place that aren’t based on the latest core files.
I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

ParticipantHey Ciff,
Is it absolutely mandatory to update these plugins? What happens if I
wait? It will take at least a week or two before I have time to
troubleshoot.thanks, Shirleyann

MemberWe do require using the latest versions to provide full support, otherwise it’s difficult to recreate each combination of WP, each of our plugins, and other things.
So, sure, we can wait until you’re available for troubleshooting. Please note that threads get Closed automatically after a couple weeks of inactivity. If it does get Closed, please open a new thread, adding your current problem description and also linking back to this thread.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I checked and there were no template over rides. I then went through the Testing Conflicts guide, and my website pages were gone and a template of 2017 theme came up but not our Floyd Yoga Jam uploads. I followed their advise and switched to the twenty sixteen theme, should I have switched to twenty seventeen? I am restoring a back up of the site from April 19th, and will try again tomorrow using the twenty seventeen, if you tell me that is what went wrong.
Thanks for any help you can send my way.

MemberAny of the WordPress default themes like TwentyFourteen, TwentyFifteen, TwentySixteen, etc. are fine for Testing for Conflicts.
I’m not totally clear what you mean by “my website pages were gone” or “but not our Floyd Yoga Jam uploads”. Maybe you actually copied your site to a separate staging/development site/URL and things didn’t copy over 100%?
Please let me know how else you think I can assist you here.

ParticipantI was able to go back and restore files from 2 days ago. I’m not sure what went wrong when I re-activated the plugins, but the wp disappeared. There’s a wordpress update 4.7.4 , Until I can figure out the issue with your plugins, is it ok to update the wordpress?
Thanks,
