MemberGood afternoon Lisa and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about your tickets not being sent. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing you might want to look into are your settings for When should tickets be emailed to customers? under Events -> Settings -> Tickets.
By default, this is set for tickets to be sent only when the order status is “Complete”.
If that still does not work, I would recommend installing, configuring and testing the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
Using a real SMTP server with authentication will bypass the built-in WP mail functionality altogether.
Please make sure you configure and test the settings using the plugin’s built-in tool.
This typically solves the issue.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantCan you help me figure out why when I’ve downloaded the plugin you suggested and tried to configure it using a couple different accounts but am getting failures every time I attempt to send an email?

ParticipantI’m so sorry, Geoff. I don’t know why the settings were left that way, but I did create a godaddy email ([email protected]) and configure those settings with a failure response. I updated everything. Would you mind taking a look again. I have tried a gmail email as well, without success.

MemberGood evening Lisa,
I believe the issue has to do with the SSL connection with GoDaddy (port 465).
Switching to a non-encrypted email and using port 80 seems to be working. You can now try again to see if the ticket sends when the order status is changed to “complete”.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantThank you so much for your help, Geoff- that did it! I have another question, if you’re able to answer it here. If not I can open another thread. When we receive the ticket confirmation there is no event info (name, date, time). Is there a way to set it up so we know what the customers are ordering?

MemberGood afternoon Lisa,
I am super stoked that this did the trick!
If I understand correctly what you are looking for, I believe the following extension should do the trick: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.
