It’s true that we’re still working on full integration for recurring event tickets — I am sorry for the trouble in the meantime, and that it’s a bit of a pain for organizers at this time. 🙁
In terms of a temporary solution, unfortunately allowing for “event duplication” is itself another complicated thing to build and do, and is not easily possible at this time with our plugins.
