Ticket Types & Upsells

Hi,

I need a system to sell eg 100 event tickets for (EUR) €10.00 each. For each ticket order, I’d like to include an optional upsell where people can opt to purchase one or more raffle tickets.

EG of the Options for the event:
1. Event Ticket €10.00
2. Event Ticket + 1 Raffle Ticket €15.00
3. Event Ticket + 2 Raffle Tickets €20.00

I’d like to have eg 100 event tickets available online, but allow each person purchasing these event ticket to purchase (or have the option to purchase) any number of additional raffle tickets.

Basically, one event, 100 tickets, multiple upsell options for each of the 100 tickets.

Hi. Thanks for considering our plugin suite.

To sell tickets, you’d need Event Tickets Plus and your choice of an eCommerce plugin (like WooCommerce) to handle the actual checkout (receiving of money) process.

Basically, our plugin allows you to create a paid ticket and control when it’s available for purchase and to limit the quantity of each ticket. Then the checkout process goes to your eCommerce plugin’s “cart” to complete the checkout.

So any upsell functionality would need to be a customization. It’s possible the eCommerce plugin’s shopping cart may be the proper place to include such an upsell.

Finally, our plugin wouldn’t have any support for generating a raffle ticket or even managing the stock of a raffle ticket (unless you issued them as separate Event Tickets Plus “tickets”) so this might be another area you could customize.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

Thank you for your reply.

I was referring to the Event Tickets Plus plugin hence my pre sales question 🙂
I intend to couple it with WooCommerce alright, it’s the most supported ecomm platform.

The main thing I need to know is can I add ‘options’ (with different pricing) for a single event ticket, not necessarily create a new event ticket/or woo product for the raffle, it just so happens the upsell is also called a ‘ticket’, a ‘raffle ticket’.

I hope I have explained myself a little better.
