ParticipantIs it possible to integrate this plugin with Woocommerce Subscriptions to allow for tickets to be purchased with 2 payments? I know that Woocommerce and Stripe can handle subscriptions, but I need to use them along with the attendee management that this plugin offers.

KeymasterHi Bedros,
Thanks for reaching out!
Could you please provide a few more details on how you would like this to work? Are you wanting users to submit two separate payments on the same order before tickets are generated?
We are a bit limited as to the amount of support we can provide for integrations with third party plugins, but if you can clarify what you’re looking for a little bit, I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantYeah no problem. Having 2 payments before a ticket is generated is ideal. I have been testing the Subscriptio addon, which allows me to set a ticket as a subscription, however the ticket is still generated immediately. This will work, with some auditing, but it would be awesome if we could work with this or something else to require the 2nd payment first. I appreciate any suggestions!

KeymasterHi Bedros,
Thanks for clarifying, and I’m glad you were able to get it partially working the way you’d like! I would recommend taking a look at the settings under Events > Settings > Tickets > WooCommerce Support. I think your best bet would be to hold off on completing the WooCommerce order until the second payment has been received, and you can change the settings here to only generate attendee records and email tickets when the order status has been changed to “completed”. As far as setting when the order status is changed, you would need to configure that on the WooCommerce side (possibly through one of the plugins you are trying to use?), or you could also set this with a customization. If you’d like to go this route, our themer’s guide is the place to start! We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
You might also take a look at a plugin like this one from Woo to help control when the order status is changed.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution here, but I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or if you get stuck on the code – I’ll be happy to take a look and try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
