Hello,
We are using the Event Tickets plugin for our Cooking Classes. And while purchases populate through the attendees list with the customer count, it does not reduce stock on the front end or switch over to sold out when people buy seats for the class. We have to manually reduce every order – and watch to ensure we don’t oversell. This was not always the case, just within the last year or so – prior to this it reduced correctly. We have not made any major changes to our site – we just started to notice glitches with quantities (as of a year ago). We have updated our plugin to the Events Plus version per support recommendation and it worked on the development site but not on the live. We would greatly appreciate help resolving this as it has become a major undertaking with our online ecommerce. You can find our classes on our calendar at: https://www.newpi.coop/new-pi-classes-and-community/2017-04/This class in particular had 20 seats available (https://www.newpi.coop/event/cheese-friends-class/) two have been purchased to date – but the site and backend have 20 seats still remaining for purchase.
Thank you,

March 29, 2017 at 8:51 am #1261467CarolineMemberHi Melanie,
Thanks so much for following up with this information! In the interest of beginning with the lowest-hanging fruit first, would you mind taking a moment to update your calendar and ticketing plugins to the latest versions, then testing again to confirm whether your stock issues persist on the live site?
You may also wish to confirm that the setting Enable stock management is enabled under WooCommerce’s settings. You can read more about recommended settings for WooCommerce and Event Tickets Plus on our Knowledgebase.
Let me know what the result of these two steps is, and we’ll see where we can go from there!

“Enable stock management” is enabled in the system.
Current version of plugins (with latest version) as follows:
Event Tickets – 4.4.2 ( to 4.4.5)
Event Ticket Plus – 4.4.2 (to 4.4.4)
The Events Calendar – 4.4.2 (to 4.4.5)Please confirm above plugin upgrades, so that we can perform these upgrades soon.
Thanks,

Thanks for confirming! Yes, these listed versions are the ones you’ll want to upgrade to across the board. Please install these versions and let us know if there’s any change once you’re able to test again! If not, we’ll move right on to the next step in troubleshooting, 🙂
Thank you!
