    This is my scenario

    I conduct workshops which run for a couple of days and have to be booked well in advance.
    An attendee should be able to buy a ticket for themselves and a different(cheaper) kind of ticket for their companion. The attendee and the companion ticket prices are different.

    Also the attendee can book his seat by paying a deposit (price decided by me). And before the event takes place he has to pay the rest of the amount.

    Is this kind of scenario possible?

    It is possible to create multiple tickets on one event and have different prices for each ticket, but there is not an out-of-the-box way to relate tickets to each other or to reduce the price automatically based on the quantity purchased. Deposits are also not supported out-of-the-box. However, with Event Tickets Plus, you can sell tickets via WooCommerce; tickets will essentially be WooCommerce simple products, which means that they typically work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions. There are several of them out there that might work for your particular use case, but here are a few that you might want to look into:

    WooCommerce Partial Payments
