GuestDear Tribe,
We’re using the free events calendar at the moment. I didn’t read anything in the pro version that would make it obvious for us to purchase as the lite version fits perfectly, however the issue we would like to investigate is download of the actual tickets following purchase.
I’ve just been looking at: https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager-tickets-payments/screenshots/ and this seems like it would do what we need, namely transaction through paypal, and purchaser can download their ‘actual’ tickets, rather than download their order details. The reason this would be good for us, is for example, they purchase 2 tickets to each of 3 separate events. Currently, that’s one order, no printable ticket., just a printable order. However if each purchase actually created a digital download, they would print 6 tickets if you see what we mean. It’s clear how this works on the above link.
Is something like this possible in your tools, or partner tools?
Thanks in advance.

MemberHi George and thanks for getting in touch!
We do have a few extensions to sell tickets–depending on which ecommerce platform you prefer. For example, WooCommerce Tickets allows you to create and sell tickets for your The Events Calendar event posts with full cart integration for WooCommerce, which handles the transaction and offers a ton of extensions of its own.
Here’s a deeper overview of how our Tickets framework works and what ecommerce platforms it integrates with.
Does that help answer your question? Please feel free to let me know if there’s anything else I can help answer and I’d be happy to!
Cheers,

GuestHi Geoff, I’m using your plugin with woocommerce (but not woocommerce tickets) I read what I could do with it and I don’t believe it’s what we need. What we’re specifically looking for, is a purchase (order) and if, in that order, the buyer purchased 6 tickets, they can print off each ticket. Currently, no matter the other solutions, they can only print the order. Ideally, at each of our events, we want people to present their ticket, not their order if you see what I mean.

MemberHi George and thanks for following up!
WooCommerce Tickets will indeed email the tickets a customer purchases once the transaction has been marked as Complete in WooCommerce. The ticket contains the event information and can be used to check people in at the door.
We’re also in the middle of developing a QR code feature for those emails so that you would be able to scan them at the door, which would check people in automatically in The Events Calendar.
Cheers!
