Dusty
ParticipantHi
Please advise:
We are creating a recurring weekly event and instead of going to the single event page when you click on the first event in the sequence on the calendar, it is going to the event archive of all events in that series. Shouldn’t it go to that event on that day—not to a list of every time that happens?
Oh, also, another glitch: When you click on that first event in the series for recurring events, it takes you to the big linsting page, but it doesn’t show every event in the series. For example, I clicked an event for April 16, with a weekly recurring, but this listing page shows one from June 25, 2017, one from October 15, 2017 … then it skips all the way to February of 2018. Here is a screenshot:

MemberHi Dusty,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced problems.
Please note that we do try to stick to one issue per forum topic. With that in mind, let’s focus on the first issue you raised and if you can create a fresh topic for the other problem that would be awesome 🙂

That doesn’t sound right … if you compare and contrast with the behaviour you see on our demo site you should see that this doesn’t normally happen, unless I’m misunderstanding your description of the problem.
You noted having already tried disabling all other plugins but don’t seem to have tried deactivating your theme and switching to Twenty Seventeen (or some other default theme) – is that something you could try in case this is the result of a conflict?

Let me know how you get on!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
