The Events Calendar conflicts with Advanced Custom Fields – Page Link field

Hello,
Hoping you can help track down a conflict between The Events Calendar and Advanced Custom Fields – Page Link field.

I’ve found a similar report which appears to have gone unresolved (link below), so I’ve included some screenshots for reference on this thread.

All ACF fields are fine until enabling The Events Calendar, and once TEC is activated, the Page Link fields in the admin stop functioning correctly – not getting any console errors. Testing with a backup, the same is true when just those two plugins are active, and after switching to a default theme.

Any thoughts on a possible fix?

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Unfortunately, we are aware of this issue with the select2 JavaScript library which was introduced in our latest update of our commons library. The good news is we have already made a fix for it and we are planning on releasing it in our next maintenance release cycle this week.

I have set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and linked it to the report so we’ll let you know as soon as the fix is released.

We released an update for this issue. Can you update your plugins (preferrably on a staging site) and see if that resolves the issue.
