GuestHi,
I am experiencing the same issue as the following post with displaying the individual event detail page. A blank page is displayed.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/plugin-conflict-pixridder-pro/#dl_post-951735
I sent a query to the author of PixGridder Pro and he returned the following response:
I know that the issue happens when PixGridder is activated, but the reason is an old jQuery script used by the event plugin, a script that its author haven’t updated for 6 years. I won’t release any update to fix this issue since I can’t fix a script of someone else. The page is blank because of a javascript error: Geode set the opacity of the page to 0 and it fades it to 1 when the page is loaded. Even if you avoided this effect, many other things that work with javascript wouldn’t work.
Is it possible to update this script?
Thanks and Regards

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I am limited in 3rd party plugin support, but can try to help out.
He says a script has not been updated in 6 years, but which script is he talking about?
Let me know and I can see what we can do.
Cheers

GuestHi Brian
Thanks a lot for your help, the plugin to be updated is https://github.com/cowboy/jquery-resize.
I have my fingers crossed for a quick and easy fix!
Best Regards

MemberHi,
Thanks for the information.
Since the script has not been updated we are using the latest version available.
We can explore using a different script, but that is not an easy fix and I have nothing to provide on this unfortunately as it would have to be replaced in a future release.
Sorry to disappoint.

GuestHi Brian
Thanks for your response. Could you please advise if this script will be replaced in the next release?
If the release date is not too far away then I will wait, otherwise I will have to buy another event plug-in.
Cheers

MemberUnfortunately, It will not be replaced in the next release. That development is done for that release and we are testing it now.
I cannot promise it will be in the release after that either and do not have a timeline when this might happen.

GuestHi Brian
OK, no fix or work around, it has to go. Big shame for me as love this plug-in.
