    I have re-entered the license twice now as prompted on my updates page, go enter the license, save, looks good, go to Updates page, click check again, nothing. Wait a few minutes, I’m prompted to re-enter my license key. Haven’t run into this issue before with other site/plugin settings. Any idea what’s going on here?

    I’m not running any caching plugins FWIW.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

    Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.

    Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:

    Visit License Tab
    Enter License Key
    You get a Green License Valid Message
    After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
    Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page.

    Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:

    Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.

    Yes, that must have been it. For future releases/users it would be useful to have this be more intuitive. One possible way to do this would be to not display the ‘Save Changes’ button until the license is validated, or allow the license to save, then validate. Thanks for your help.

    I am glad to see you were able to get it working.

    You are right it could be better and I have a ticket in place for us to address this and make it more intuitive, thanks for your feedback.
