TEC Pulling Logo and Date for WRONG event

Guys ‘n Gals, we are coming out of hibernation and need help as we need to put up events and they are all funked up! And, I don’t know why it started…I yield to your experience of “what” has happened, “how” to undo it and not it happen again.

In LIST/MONTH/MAP/PHOTO we show fine: logo, blurb, dates.

Yet, when we click on any of them, it pulls the header event name/date/time and Stella’s Wish logo! It was another logo coming up incorrectly, so I deleted that logo from the database and confirmed the event logo was correct — still pulling up the damn wrong logo.

I am about to cry, as I have done nothing wrong and I don’t know how to correct this!

Oddly, it “appears” not to be an issue on alaskaracenews.com’s site using the same Theme/PlugIns

Unrelated question: is it truly easy to use the import venue, organizer, event info via excel method? Any hidden “be sure you….”. Yet MAIN URGENT is the pulling of the wrong event header/logo in your software!

I’m sorry to hear about these issues! I took a look at your events pages and am just wondering—when you describe your issues with erroneous logos being pulled in and such, is what I’ve pointed out in this screenshot the thing you’re referring to? (See below.)

As for importing with the CSV importer, there aren’t many “Be sure you…” sort of reminders; it’s about as straightforward a process as we can make it. That behavior is odd and could be indicative of a plugin or theme code conflict—before jumping to that conclusion, can you share your “System Information” with us?

Woah! Back up the bus! I have found three discussions of this same thing in these forums! So it is not an uncommon matter.

I have MaxMag theme with TEC Pro on two sites and one is fine and the other pulls the wrong logo/date into. So, I will pull both up and go through setting by setting to see where things are forcing TEC info to be pulled incorrectly.

Season is starting and challenges abound…
